Sony released new noise canceling in ear headphones, MDR-NC300D. The Headphone has sensitivity of 6Hz – 24,000Hz, an impedance of 16O, and 16mm drivers. It has three different modes for NC: A (General Mode and Movie), B (Airplane Mode) and C (Train, Bus, Car, Office, Air Condition Mode), that suppresses up to 98.4% of undesired noise. Sony has released three new Alpha DSLRs, Sony Alpha A380, A330, and A230. The A380 (14.2 megapixel), A330 (10.2 megapixel) and A230 (10.2 megapixel) featuring a 2.7-inch LCD screen, a HDMI terminal and a graphical user interface. A380 and A330 feature Quick AF Live View for responsive ‘freestyle’ shooting. Here is Sony’s LocationPorter, a tool that you need if you want stream your camcorder video via 3G network. Simply put, plug your camcorder or camera directly into a Location Porter connected to the Net via 3G or LAN and it will streams video to another LocationPorter that can display live what you’re recording on your camera.

With a single 3G connection you can stream video in 352×240 a 5 to 15fps with 64 to 160kbps. With 2 3G card you can reach for the same size and fps 64kbps to 320kbps, and if you choose a LAN connection you’ll get up to 30fps at 1024kbps max. Read the rest of this entry »

New Sony Walkman PMPs hit the internet

A whole slew of new Sony Walkman hit the New Zealand site, and we have the goods on them. The new models, called NWZ-E435, E436-NWZ and NWZ-E438 all sports 2-inch QVGA LCD display, FM tuner, codec support for MP3, AAC, WMA and files PCM linear, and a clock, an very small 8.5mm / 50g. The players will be available in 2GB, 4GB, or variations of 8 Go, with different color options for each model (except for NWZ-E438, which comes only in black). Apparently, the PGR play nice with Windows Media Player and iTunes, offering drag and drop files for management. No word yet on prices, regions, or release date, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for these sweet babies. [via]
