July 29th, 2008Free Wii from Comcast
We have seen our fair share of subscription-dependent giveaways in the past in the form eee PC, and even rare PS3 offer – but to go with the Wii include cable services strikes us as somewhat remarkable. According to the offer from Comcast, the newcomers into society “Triple Play” on digital cable, VOIP services, and high-speed internet will also be able to bag po?ádného-to-goodness Nintendo Wii on their way out the door.
Surely you’ve got to sign two-year contract (to the mobile telecommunications policy), but will also go with the consoles that still can not be found on many store shelves. Does this signal the end dilute the Wii in the ubiquitous and truly informal basis, or simply propose Comcast and large N was sweet – and likely to be limited – a solution? Only suits you know. [via]
